Hello! My name is Jago Frost, and presently I am a nobody. Well, not quite; for an 18-year-old I like to think I am doing rather well.
I first entered this world as a philosophically vacant infant, and it was some years before I started to become a person recognisable as myself. Aged 4 I began dressing quite formally, something I still do and could not avoid doing, and by the age of 7 (seriously) I had a strong interest in politics. Oh, and who could forget, transport. I have never not been fascinated by it and it dominates my mind.
As for the formalities of place, I was born in Cardiff but moved to Bury, Greater Manchester when I was 1 – not of my own accord, obviously. It was there I lived for a further 12 years, before moving back next to Wales in Herefordshire. After school, I pressed on with A-Levels, but emerged with an unpleasant feeling that I was a worse writer and thinker than I was before. This blog is partly an attempt to rectify that.
Today, I am a student of Geography with Transport at the University of Leeds, but I have in the past sat on the Stronger Hereford Board, assisting with the implementation of various government projects in the city. I was also a committee member for Rail & Bus for Herefordshire, a transport action group, during which time I wrote and published the popular Ledbury Area timetable booklets for the Town Council. I am also the voice of several Sargeants bus routes, I have a moderately successful YouTube channel (not under my name) and I have a vague but somewhat fruitless interest in photography. Do enjoy!
